Vidhya Vidhai is a Chennai-based, not-for-profit organisation working in the field of school education. We partner with education leaders to strategically plan and execute the best systemic leadership practices in the school education system. Our current reach is in Tamilnadu, Puducherry and Telangana in partnership with both the state education departments.<\/span><\/p>

Vidhya Vidhai believes education is for children and, therefore, should be centred around children. In a child-centred learning environment, children are given choices of how and what they learn, based on the theory that children thrive when they can see a direct connection between the instructional material on the one hand and their own interests and real-world experiences on the other. In such a setting, the classroom becomes a collaborative environment, with the child as an active rather than passive participant.<\/span><\/p>

Vidhya Vidhai also believes that only a key decision maker in the school system can ensure this environment for a child, and that is the School Leader, who can be called Head Master\/Head Mistress or Principal in different names.
