Whenever Suresh tries to put down his thoughts on pen and paper, he faces a huge struggle. He is still at second grade level in reading and writing. There are so many other children like Suresh, who are not at their grade level competencies.<\/p>\n<p>When Suresh enters his classroom two weeks back, he found a huge chart hanging over the wall. It contains 50 two and three-letter words. Suresh spent 15 minutes time to read those words daily. He felt happy that he could read all those 50 words by the end of that week. It was our first week of Kartka Kasadara.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-303 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/vidhyavidhai.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/img-20191017-wa0049-e1573714822427.jpg\" alt=\"Two letter word\" width=\"199\" height=\"470\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Suresh felt excited about seeing his classroom when he entered after Sunday. There was a colorful library in one corner of his classroom with storybooks hanging around. He could read those books whenever he was free in the classroom. Suresh utilized his lunch hours to read his favorite comic books. He felt confident enough that he could read and understand the basic words in the book. It was our second week of Kartka Kasadara.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-305\" src=\"https:\/\/vidhyavidhai.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/img-20191021-wa0026-1.jpg\" alt=\"IMG-20191021-WA0026 (1).jpg\" width=\"1280\" height=\"960\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Now Suresh is one of the members of the peer facilitation group. He is now going through the practice sessions to learn from his friend. Also, teaching the concepts he is clear and very sure about.
