At Vidhya Vidhai Foundation, our journey began with a vision: to ensure child-centered schools and provide quality education to every child. Our founders, Ram and Regila, were driven by a deep passion for education and a desire to make a difference in the lives of young learners. Inspired by the progressive ideals of Azim Premji University, they embarked on a quest to explore and understand the essential building blocks of child-centered education.

Through their extensive research and dedication, they unearthed a critical element in the formula for effective education: equipped School Leaders. They recognized that School Leaders play a critical role in creating an environment where children’s needs and opportunities for growth are at the forefront of the educational experience. But a pressing question arose: How well-prepared are India’s School Leaders for this crucial role? The answer revealed the gap and the need in the system that required immediate action. It was clear that School Leaders across the country needed support, guidance, and the necessary tools to foster child-centered learning environments

It was in the year 2017 that Vidhya Vidhai Foundation was born, driven by a singular mission: to equip and empower School Leaders to ensure child-centered schools for every child in India.
