At Vidhya Vidhai, Tech Tuesday is our flagship initiative to transform digital teaching across rural and tribal schools.
Tech Tuesday holds a vital place in our mission to bridge the digital divide for educators. It is not just a tool or training—it is a continuous, teacher-first movement that supports educators with simple, actionable tech tips delivered weekly in Tamil. These short video resources are designed to be easily adopted in real classrooms, helping teachers integrate technology confidently and meaningfully. With Tech Tuesday, we are making technology accessible, relevant, and empowering for every teacher—no matter where they are.
Our Comprehensive Approach:
At Vidhya Vidhai, Tech Tuesday is designed to blend digital enablement, contextual learning, and behavioral nudges. We share 60–90 second TechTips every week via WhatsApp, followed by mentoring, TLM support, and community conversations. The tips are co-created with teachers and focused on real classroom needs—from using Google Slides to creating interactive lesson plans. Our model encourages consistent tech adoption and builds long-term confidence. We track impact through teacher usage data, student engagement metrics, and continuous feedback loops, ensuring every tip leads to transformation.

Tech Tuesday has reached over 8,000 government school teachers across rural and tribal regions, supporting them with weekly tech tips, peer mentoring, and practical digital strategies to enhance classroom teaching.

The program is being implemented in Coimbatore, Pollachi, Nagapattinam, and Tirunelveli—ensuring teachers in remote geographies gain equal access to technology-led capacity building.

We’ve developed and shared more than 100 contextual, easy-to-use resources in Tamil—from quick video tips to ready-made TLMs, posters, and step-by-step guides for digital tools.
